Just finished watching the Steve Irwin Memorial Service on Animal Planet (which I had to DVR as I was watching Dancing with the Stars). I am really sad, and I'm really surprised that I am sad! People seem so taken aback that he was killed by a sting ray. I am not. I freakin' knew sea creatures were eeeevil! Not that crocs and snakies are much better, but I especially do not like the sea creatures.
Still, he sure enjoyed his life and left this world doing what he loved. Lucky. Bittersweet, but lucky.

Yeah, I read about his death on-line. Pretty ironic...
